Wojciech Przybylski leads the largest strategic foresight programme on European policies in Central Europe. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Visegrad Insight at the Res Publica Foundation in Warsaw. Previously, he served as Editor-in-Chief of Res Publica Nowa, and later of Eurozine, a pan-European network of cultural journals.
He is a visiting lecturer at institutions such as the Foreign Service Institute for the U.S. Government, the Central European University Democracy Institute, and Pázmány Péter Catholic University. He is a graduate of the University of Warsaw (MISH programme) and a Europe’s Future Fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna.
He serves on advisory boards including LSE IDEAS Ratiu Forum, the European Forum for New Ideas, the Schmidt Futures International Strategy Forum, and the Association for the Social Agreement Incubator.
He has published in leading international outlets such as Foreign Policy, Politico Europe, Journal of Democracy, Project Syndicate, EUobserver, VoxEurop, Hospodářské noviny, Internazionale, Die Zeit, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, and Gazeta Wyborcza. He is also a frequent commentator for media such as BBC, Al Jazeera, Euronews, TRT World, TVN24, TOK FM, and Swedish Radio, among others.
He is the editor of the books Understanding Central Europe (Routledge, 2017) and On the Edge. Poland (Culturescapes, 2019).
