Adam Leszkiewicz – President of the Management Board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A.
A manager with extensive experience in public administration and business, including state-owned enterprises.
He possesses strong competencies in organizational management, supervision of key processes, and development. He also has expertise in the functioning of the public administration system and in fostering cooperation between the business and public sectors. He has been responsible for restructuring and integration processes, including those involving the Ciech Group, the shipbuilding industry, Polish Holding of Real Estate, Grupa Azoty, and the food industry. He has supervised the privatization processes of several hundred state-owned companies and enterprises, as well as divestments, restructuring, changes in organizational and business models, strategy and innovation, legislation, and social dialogue.
Since May 12, 2025, he has served as President of the Management Board of Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A.
Previously, from March 2024 to May 9, 2025, he was President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty S.A., where he implemented a recovery program and initiated the transformation of the Group’s business model under the AZOTY BUSINESS initiative. Since May 2023, he has also served as Director (Chancellor) at the Krakow University of Economics.
Between 2016 and 2023, he was a member of the management boards of companies within international groups such as Steag GmbH and EPH a.s.. Earlier, from 2012 to 2016, he served as President of the Management Board and CEO of Grupa Azoty Kędzierzyn, and in 2015 as President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty Chorzów. From 2014 to 2016, he was Chairman of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry, and currently serves as its Vice-Chairman for the 2025–2027 term. He is also a member of the Council of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of New Chemical Syntheses in Puławy.
Between 2009 and 2011, he served as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Treasury, supervising, among others, companies in the chemical, agri-food, real estate, and public administration support sectors. Earlier, he held positions such as Secretary of the City of Warsaw and Director of the Marshal’s Office of the Małopolskie Voivodeship.
He also supervised privatization processes and projects, state-owned real estate management, and company valuation. In December 2007, he was appointed Undersecretary of State at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and Deputy Head of the Chancellery, where he was responsible, among other things, for the standardization of public administration, state assets, and the National School of Public Administration.
He holds qualifications to serve on supervisory boards of state-owned companies. He has served as Chairman of supervisory boards, among others, at the Municipal Water and Sewerage Company in Warsaw, CTL Chemol, and ZAKSA S.A., and as a member of supervisory boards at institutions such as Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, the Polish Chemical Consortium, Zakłady Azotowe in Chorzów, and the Tarnów Regional Development Agency.
He is a graduate of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków. He also completed postgraduate studies in management at the Małopolska School of Public Administration and in journalism at the University of the Commission of National Education in Kraków.
