prof. Agostinho ABRUNHOSA

Associate Professor in AESE Business School

Agostinho Abrunhosa holds PhD degree from Adam Smith Business School, at Glasgow University.

He holds a degree in Business Management and Organization from ISEG Lisbon and has developed his professional activity on IT.

He completed the AESE/IESE Executive MBA. Since 2007, he has been a professor in the Operations, Technology and Innovation Area at AESE Business School.

He is currently Member of the Board of Directors and Executive MBA AESE’s Director.

    Launched on November, 2022, ChatGPT rapidly became the fastest-growing consumer app in history, amassing over 100 million users within just two months. This AI chatbot distinguished itself by its sophisticated language understanding and the ability to generate diverse outputs, from essays and dialogues to jokes and poetry, often matching or surpassing human quality. We will discuss the implications for business models and organizations, highlighting strategies for integrating ChatGPT and generative AI technologies.
