Although his educational roots are connected with music, he courageously changed his professional path and decided to follow the technical and engineering route in the IT domain.
He joined ING Bank in 2006 and helped set up the technology center in Poland. He contributed to defining the strategy and creating scalability through innovative solutions, with responsibilities for IT infrastructure, cloud computing, data management and automation, provided in 20+ countries around the world.
In 2022 he joined Euroclear as a Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO). His ambition as the CTO is to enable Euroclear to meet its objectives by delivering material contribution to the organization’s strategic direction, development and future growth. He drives new technologies to support Euroclear’s digitalization roadmap.
Next to his CTO role, in 2023 he also became the Branch Manager for a newly opened Tech Hub in Poland. His goal is to further embed Euroclear’s presence in Krakow but also expand their activities and attract talents in Poland who could help them in implementing their business strategy.
He sets high standards for himself and is a passionate runner, having completed several marathons and ultramarathons.
