Kamil Dobosz, PhD, Executive MBA
A graduate of the Executive MBA programme at the Krakow School of Business operating within the Krakow University of Economics, Kamil Dobosz serves as Vice President of the EMBA&MBA HUB Association, a nationwide, cross-university think tank connecting business, academia, investors, NGOs, and public administration.
He is a legal counsel at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Kraków with extensive experience in legal advisory. He began his professional career at a leading Polish law firm based in Kraków, where he developed expertise in business law, particularly competition law and European Union law. He currently serves as of counsel at KOZIEŃ & DOBOSZ LEGAL Attorneys and Legal Advisers Partnership.
In his legal practice, he has advised entrepreneurs and managers on matters relating to competition and consumer protection law, merger control, commercial company law, administrative law, labor law, and cultural heritage law. He has also delivered numerous training sessions in business law for legal advisers, businesses, and representatives of local government, while for several years conducting specialist courses for legal trainees in company law and competition law.
He serves as Chairman of the Competition Law Practitioners Section at the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Kraków, engaging the broader legal community nationwide. He earned his PhD in legal sciences by defending a doctoral dissertation in EU competition law titled “Uniform Application of European Union Competition Law by the Authorities and Courts of Member States.” This dissertation won the nationwide competition of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection as the best work in the field of competition protection.
Kamil Dobosz is the author of numerous academic publications in domestic and international journals and publishing houses, focusing on competition law, administrative law, European Union law, company law, and cultural heritage protection law. He has also edited several books and journals of national and international scope and has been a speaker at many conferences in Poland and abroad.
Professionally, he is also associated with an American financial institution, where he holds a managerial position in the Compliance Department. As an assistant professor in the Department of Regulatory Policies at the Krakow University of Economics, he conducts teaching and research primarily in European Union law, competition law, and administrative law.
He has also lectured in law programmes at the Jagiellonian University and the University of the Commission of National Education in Kraków, as well as in postgraduate programmes at the Krakow School of Business (Executive MBA), the Małopolska School of Public Administration, and Jagiellonian University (Company Law).
Within the Academic Incubator Programme of the Krakow University of Economics, he also serves as a mentor and Legal and Regulatory Expert.
