Magdalena Balawajder
Graduate of German Philology at the Jagiellonian University and postgraduate studies in Human Capital Management. She also completed the MBA in Corporate Management at the Krakow School of Business, Krakow University of Economics.
A manager with many years of experience in security, strategic management, and international cooperation. For over 20 years, she was affiliated with the Voivodeship Police Headquarters in Krakow, where she was responsible for strategic planning, development of international projects, and acquisition of European funds. She held managerial positions, coordinating complex initiatives at the intersection of public administration and international partners. Currently, a retired Police officer.
Participant in numerous international training programmes and conferences across Europe, focused on cooperation between public institutions and modern models of security management.
Currently an entrepreneur operating in the security sector, focusing on leveraging public sector experience in business projects and strategic consulting.
President of the Inspector Marek Woźniczka Association, implementing projects supporting economic development, volunteering, and social initiatives.
Following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, she became actively involved in humanitarian efforts as the Plenipotentiary of the Mayor of Krakow for the coordination of international humanitarian aid, cooperating, among others, with the CORE Response foundation founded by Sean Penn.
