Małopolska Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service
Senior Brigadier, MSc Eng. Przemysław Przęczek began his service in the State Fire Service on 25 August 2003. He is a graduate of the School of Aspirants of the State Fire Service in Krakow, which he completed in 2005, obtaining the title of fire protection technician. He continued his education at the Main School of Fire Service in Warsaw, Faculty of Fire Safety Engineering. In 2009, he completed part-time first-cycle studies, earning the degree of Engineer in Fire Safety, and in 2011, he completed second-cycle studies, obtaining the degree of Master of Science in Fire Safety Engineering.
In 2016, he further expanded his competencies by completing postgraduate studies at the Krakow University of Economics in accounting and financial reporting in accordance with IAS and IFRS. He also completed professional training at the Swedish Armed Forces Civil Defence Training Centre and at the Lviv State University of Life Safety.
From the beginning of his professional career, he has been affiliated with the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Wieliczka, where he served successively as a fire crew commander, shift commander, and Deputy Commander of the Rescue and Firefighting Unit.
On 23 March 2018, he was appointed District Commander of the State Fire Service in Wieliczka. Subsequently, from 25 June 2020, he served as Acting Deputy Małopolska Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service. On 18 September 2020, he was officially appointed Deputy Provincial Commander, and on 8 March 2024, he assumed the position of Małopolska Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service.
