Tomasz Brzostowski is one of the leaders of the GBS (global business services) industry in Poland. Over the past 20 years, he has held global executive positions at companies such as Hitachi, IBM, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Tomasz has managed teams in Poland, Asia (Malaysia, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan), and the United States. As a vice president responsible for GBS/GFSS organization, he reported directly to the boards of global corporations or to the EC+1 level.
He currently works as an expert/trainer for GBS leaders at the Ernst & Young Academy, a VC investor, a member of the supervisory boards of med-tech startups, and an advisor to companies in the business services market, as well as is engaged in community, social, and voluntary projects.
For several years, Tomasz has directly supported (fundraising and transport of goods) the Good Human Foundation (Fundacja Dobry Człowiek): providing aid to hospitals, orphanages, and centers for children with disabilities in the far east of Ukraine (Donetsk region, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia). Tomasz is a member of the Council of the Cracow University of Economics and co‑author of a new practical degree program in global business services, for which he invited more than 30 global corporations operating in Kraków to participate.
Tomasz has repeatedly served as an ambassador for the GBS industry in Poland: meeting with and advising senior executives of global corporations (CXOs) interested in opening their operations/centers in Poland. He frequently appears as a speaker and as a member of program committees at global conferences dedicated to GBS topics.
Tomasz graduated from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). He has studied and worked in Germany, the Netherlands, Australia and the USA. He is a member of ACCA, the UK organization uniting professionals in management, finance, and accounting worldwide.
