§ 1
Whenever these terms and conditions refer to:
• Participant – an individual or company who has completed the enrollment form and paid the enrollment fee accordingly,
• Registration Fee – a mandatory fee charged to the Congress participant depending on the package selected, • Gala Dinner – a gala dinner combined with a charity auction
• MBA Golf Event – family picnic on the golf course
§ 2
1. These Regulations set forth the rules of participation in the event entitled XX Anniversary International MBA Congress (hereinafter: “Congress” or “Event”), which will be held on May 17-19, 2024.
2. The Organizer of the Congress is:

4. The Congress is organized in the indicated places:
a. on the premises of the Campus of the Krakow University of Economics at 27 Rakowicka Street, Krakow,
b. on the premises of the Hilton Garden Inn Konopnicka Krakow Hotel, where the Gala Dinner is held,
c. on the premises of the Royal Krakow Golf & Country Club in Ochmanów (address: Podłęże, Ochmanów 124, 32-003), near Wieliczka.
5. The provisions of these Regulations are an integral part of the application for participation in the Congress. Sending the registration form means simultaneous acceptance of the provisions of the Regulations.
6. The Organizer reserves the right to change the speakers, up to and including the Congress start date, for reasons beyond its control. The Participant is not entitled to any claims against the Organizer on this account.
§ 3
1. Participation in the Congress is payable.
2. The registration fee charged to Participants is detailed in § 4. KSB UEK MBA students, speakers, honorary guests of the Congress, and KSB UEK MBA Program Directors are released from the obligation to pay the registration fee (free of charge).
3. Registration of the Congress Participant is conditional on acceptance of these Regulations, in accordance with the point below.
a. The Organizer shall conduct the registration of the Congress Participants via the registration form located on the website www.kongresmba.uek.krakow.pl (the “Congress website”). In the registration form, the following data must be provided (information with “*” is mandatory):
– first name*,
– surname*,
– company name
– country*,
– street and no*,
– flat no,
– postal code*,
– city*,
– telephone no.*,
– e-mail address*,
– additional information (to enter Tax Identification Number – if an invoice is to be issued)
4. Registration of the Congress Participant takes place by completing the registration form indicated on the website. Submitting the registration form is considered tantamount to accepting these Regulations.
5. The Krakow University of Economics is the administrator of personal data following the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons about the processing of personal data and the free flow of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/we (General Data Protection Regulation) of April 27, 2016. (Official Journal of the EU L 2016, No. 119, hereinafter RODO). Provision of personal data is voluntary, and the submitter has the right to inspect the data, as well as the ability to modify (rectify) it, as well as the right to request deletion or restriction of processing, and the right to object to processing – in the cases and under the terms of the RODO regulations. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
6. Cancellation of participation in the Congress should be submitted only in writing to the following e-mail address: kongresmba@uek.krakow.pl. In the event of cancellation of participation in the Congress, after payment for participation in the Congress has been made, the Organizer reserves the right to charge the Participant:
a. 20% of the registration fee – if the cancellation is reported by 31.03.2024.
b. 40% of the registration fee – in case of cancellation notification by 14.04.2024.
c. 80% of the registration fee – in case of resignation notification by 05.05.2024.
7. The Organizers confirm acceptance of the registration to the e-mail address indicated in the Application Form.
8. The official closing of registration is on May 13, 2024. After this date, application for participation in the Congress is possible only by e-mail. Interested persons should inquire about the possibility of participation in the Congress at kongresmba@uek.krakow.pl. The Organizer will confirm the possibility of participation in the Congress to the e-mail address of the interested party.
§ 4
1. The amount of registration fee (so-called “Congress Pass”) applies to all interested persons. If this package is selected, the Participant for the amount of 300 PLN has access to the following events:
a. participation in panel discussions on the first day of the Congress,
b. participation in business workshops (after prior notification of desire to participate at least one week before the official start date of the event),
c. additionally, the Congress participant may purchase admission to the following events for an additional fee via the website: Gala Dinner combined with charity auction (350 PLN/person), participation in KSB UEK Golf Cup Tournament (family ticket – 180 PLN).
2. All students of Executive MBA, International MBA, MBA KSB + Clark Master, and MBA in Healthcare programs do not need to register for the Congress, as the event is compulsory. These students are granted free admission to the event except for accompanying events, for which an additional fee applies according to the price list on the event website (kongresmba.uek.krakow.pl).
3. Each of the associates of Krakow Business School and employees of Krakow University of Economics may take part in the event free of charge after prior notification of interest to Krakow Business School. In case of interest in participation in accompanying events (Diner Gala, KSB UEK Golf Cup Tournament), these persons must pay an additional fee in accordance with the price list on the Event website.
§ 5
1. The Participant shall cover the cost of travel to the Congress venue and the accommodation associated with participation in the Congress on his/her own.
2. The registration fee shall be paid through the electronic payment system Przelewy24, which is available on the website.
3. The Participant or the delegating company/institution/government is responsible for covering damage and other costs caused by the Participant that are not included in the price and not paid by the end of the Congress. In case of non-payment by the Participant referred to in the first sentence, the Organizer will issue an invoice and send it to the address indicated during online registration. The Participant or the delegating company/institution/government must pay the amounts due by the date indicated on the invoice.
§ 6
1. All complaints of the Congress participants against the Organizer should be submitted in writing to the Organizer’s address under pain of invalidity.
2. Congress participants’ complaints may be submitted no later than 7 days after the end of the Congress. Any complaints submitted after this deadline will not be considered.
3. The Organizer will consider the submitted complaints within one month of their receipt.
§ 7
1. The Organizer retains the right to cancel or change part or all of the program of the Congress, without notice and without any obligation to pay compensation or damages to any persons, depending on the personal discretion of the Organizer, without any obligation to refund part or all of the registration fee.
2. The Organizer shall have the right to document the course of the event and use the recorded or captured materials in electronic media, press, brochures, leaflets, etc., and the Participant’s participation in the Congress is tantamount to consent to the indicated activities, including the use of the Participant’s image.
3. The Congress Terms and Conditions are available on the website www.kongresmba.uek.krakow.pl, at the Organizer’s office and at the reception desk during the Congress.
4. The Organizer shall not be liable for any left items by the Participant of the Congress.
5. Any disputes arising from participating in the Congress will be settled by the court having jurisdiction over the Organizer’s seat.
6. In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the relevant provisions of the Polish Civil Code shall apply.
7. The Terms and Conditions shall come into force on 01.02.2024.
